Congratulations to Myrna and some next steps

Council Members:

I’m confident all of you join me in congratulating Myrna on over two decades of public service at the City of Austin. We’re going to miss her, but congratulate her on her retirement and wish her all sorts of good luck.

Myrna’s last day at City Hall will be April 7th. She has some accumulated time and will take that during April. Her last “official” day will be April 30, 2025.

My recommendation is that we conduct an executive session on March 25th to discuss next steps with the City Clerk position.

Please remember that we will be conducting reviews of the other Council appointed positions this month. We will conduct the review of the City Manager on March 25th. We will conduct the reviews of the City Auditor and Municipal Court Clerk on March 27th.

I’ll provide additional information as we get closer.
