Today, we had a discussion on the dais about what version of each of the items we will take up as the "base" recommendation or main motion. The main motion will be a motion that will be subject to amendments. I've looked at it and I think the best course will be to go with the Planning Commission recommendation for item 6 and Staff recommendation for items 3, 4, 5 and 7. Item 1 didn't have a Staff or PC recommendation. It will stand alone.

So I will ask for a motion on item 6 to adopt the Planning Commission recommendation. Then, we will consider amendments. For items 3, 4, 5 and 6, I will ask for a motion to adopt the Staff recommendation. We will consider amendments to that version of those items.

The order we will go in for the public hearings will be 6, 3, 5, 4, 1 and 7.
