Item 67 - Relating to the PDC and Rally Austin

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to thank Council Member Vela and the other co-sponsors (Qadri, Fuentes, & Velasquez) for bringing forward item 67 to support the efficient accomplishment and advancement of Rally Austin's responsibilities for the PDC creative space.

As someone who helped launch the AEDC, now Rally Austin, I too wish to empower Rally Austin to effectively put City dollars to work to advance our City values. Providing resources and staff support to streamline project timelines and assure affordability of this space for our creative sector is needed to accomplish the goals Council laid out for the organization. Accordingly, I would like to be added as a co-sponsor to item 67.
