Budget Amendment Process

Council--

As you all work through your potential amendments that you plan to present during the budget revision vote on November 20th, I wanted to lay out a process.

To ensure we are working from the same baseline, amendments should be written based on the City Manager's Revised Budget Recommendation that was received on Friday, November 7th.

Please have your budget amendments shared with staff by 6:00 pm on Friday, November 14th. If necessary, we can use the November 18th work session to review budget amendments in anticipation of the November 20th council meeting.

Staff will be distributing a document to capture council budget amendments, including instructions on how to complete them and where to submit them by the end of the day today.
