Colleagues,
As promised at work session yesterday, here is the data analysis provided by staff in Q&A regarding the changes being recommended to Item 56 - compatibility, which includes the impact this item has unlocking the affordability authorized in Item 55 — residential in commercial.
Also attached are some charts, prepared by my staff, showing how making some recommended changes to the staff draft ordinance increases the impact and gets to 80% of the transit and high corridor acreage (and 60% of the medium corridor acreage) either removed from or with relaxed compatibility.
We’ll post the motion sheets later today.
