City of Austin Council Message Board

Colleagues,

As the agenda office has notified Council offices, a Special Called Meeting will be held on Monday, August 22 to discuss the Statesman PUD and the South Central Waterfront (as requested by the dais at the last Council Meeting). We will be able, and staff will be available, to discuss the PUD case in front of us as well as the steps necessary to move forward with the South Central Waterfront, including the regulating plan, the TIRZ, and whether the TIRZ revenue could be impacted by increasing height or FAR entitlements. It would be helpful to post, by the end of next week if possible, other questions you want answered (if you’re able so we can all be better prepared).

Unfortunately, we are unable to find a time that works for a special called meeting on the Statesman PUD and South Central Waterfront between budget and the September 1 Council Meeting. We will post this as a discussion item on the August 30 Work Session.
