Velásquez V2 for Item 46 on 4/13 Agenda

Colleagues—

I am delighted to share the below V2 to my resolution for the April 13th council meeting prioritizing the development of deeply affordable housing at the city-owned property located at 4800 Bolm Road (Item 46). My office was recently notified by Austin Resource Recovery staff that, while additional work could be requested by the TCEQ in order to receive clearance for residential standards on the property, this work is not anticipated to be as significant of an investment as initially predicted.

This is great news since this means that creating affordable housing at this site is more within reach than before. The attached amendment is reflective of this update, since the need to allocate additional funds is highly unlikely.
