City of Austin Council Message Board

Colleagues,

Here is the general plan I recommend for the 6/3 Council Meeting. We have about 73 speakers signed up overall.

- In the morning, we will hear from about 30 speakers at 3 minute each.

- Noon - Citizen Communication – 10 speakers at 3 min each.

- Lunch break: after Cit Com Speakers

- 2 pm – 33 zoning speakers at 3 min each.

Given the far-reaching implications of item 40, I would like to request postponement of the matter until June 10 so I am able to participate when council takes up this important issue. Thank you for your consideration.

I can support CM Kelly request for postponement of item 40 until June 10th. That is only one week and still gives us time to take it up before the summer break.

All, I agree as to the request to postpone item 40 for one week. We have a big agenda as it is and so that item shifting to June 10 may help us with our meeting progress.
