Digital Access

Post by Alison Alter »

Dear Colleagues,

My office has been working closely with the City’s digital equity team and the Digital Empowerment Community of Austin (DECA) to coordinate efforts throughout the city to ensure all Austinites have access to home internet, devices, and the necessary skills to conduct day-to-day life while we are under the Stay Home, Work Safe order.

The frequently updated resource page is available at the following link: https://cityofaustin.gitbook.io/decatx/ ... -resources

For folks who have identified an available resource, or are aware of a specific need, the page includes a form to share information with DECA to assist with coordination: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... Q/viewform

This is just one piece of the puzzle for digital access, but it is an important one.

My hope is that each of you will share this resource with your constituents and the broader community.

Regards,

Thank you so much for sharing this information. We will be sure to pass it along as widely as we can.

Thank you for working on this - access to the internet is even more critical than ever and lifesaving.
