Dear colleagues,

I will be making a motion to postpone the 2nd reading of the Austin Oaks PUD zoning case (Item #39) on the February 2nd agenda until the February 16th agenda. The applicant is in agreement about the postponement to give my office additional time to work with stakeholders, including the applicant, to ensure the best outcome. I'd appreciate your support for this postponement.

In addition, it is my understanding that the public hearing was left open.

CM Alter, I will support your request for postponement. Having been in similar shoes in the past, and knowing how much can be accomplished during a postponement, I fully support your request.
I suggest this be announced at tomorrow's work session, too, to signal the postponement as early as possible to interested individuals.
