STRs and Nov. 5th Council Meeting

Council Members,
At our meeting this evening, we decided to postpone to next week the remaining STR issues. We do not have a regular council meeting scheduled this coming Thursday, however, we do have a special-called council meeting on Tuesday for a tax rate hearing. I propose that we continue the STR discussion on Tuesday, instead of after the Austin Energy Committee meeting on Thursday.
In addition, consistent with our previous discussion, we are cancelling the November 5th council meeting for several council members to attend the National League of Cities meeting in Nashville. I believe that attending this meeting would be beneficial to the council, and encourage you all to consider it.
