It's been brought to our attention that an amendment that was approved at the Nov. 20, 2014 Council meeting is not included in the proposed CodeNEXT draft resolution to be considered on Thursday. To accurately reflect what was approved, Council Member Pool proposes adding language to the ninth Whereas in the draft resolution to read as follows:
“WHEREAS on November 20, 2014, the City Council approved an approach that blended Approach 2 and Approach 3, and thus was dubbed “Approach 2.5,” and included a focus on Green Infrastructure and Sustainable Water Management;”
As background, Council Member Laura Morrison offered the Green Infrastructure and Sustainability amendment from the dais; the amendment was accepted as friendly and approved by Council. A video of the motion and the vote can be viewed at the following link on Item 126 at 9:28 minutes into the discussion. http://austintx.swagit.com/play/11202014-527
